If I had the authority, that guy would be wearing a Medal of Honor.

Very nice. I do think this one is pretty funny.

Now whether we think this guy deserves the Medal of Honor is another thing, and it depends on the circumstances under which the photo was taken.

If the soldier said, "Senator Clinton, can I get a picture with you?" and then proceeded to pull this stunt, then he is an insulting jerk.

If Senator Clinton said, "Find me a good-looking soldier with whom I can get a photo-op. You there..." then she got exactly what she deserved.

So depending on who initiated the photo, which we don't know, the guy is either to be congratulated or condemned.

Oh, and just to show that I still have a good-old stodgy, wet-blanket side, might I also suggest that at least 14,818 Americans (the number of American dead and wounded in Iraq as of June 28, 2005) should probably be ahead of this guy in the line for Medals of Honor.

OK, give 'em a Silver Star; being in the same room with Hillary probably exposed him to more danger than Kerry ever faced.
